    Gena Maselli

Gena Maselli is a professional writer who loves to see others living their dreams. She has authored several books as well as written numerous magazine and Web articles, children’s church curriculum, direct mail and more.

“Encouraging others through words is very fulfilling,” Gena says. “I love putting pen to paper and only hope that God uses my efforts to reveal His love to people.”

Before pursuing her writing career, Gena worked for a large Christian ministry, developing marketing and direct mail materials and media planning. Though she loved the work, she dreamed of getting out of the 9-to-5 life. When the opportunity arose to assist her husband, author Christopher Maselli, she jumped at the chance. It wasn’t long before Gena was pursuing her own writing career.

Now, almost a decade later, Gena is living her dream. In addition to her own books, like Truth Unplugged for Girls and Truth Unplugged for Guys, she has ghostwritten for well-known ministers and published numerous magazine articles and essays, even serving as Christian Single’s Career Watch columnist in 2005. Two of Gena’s books, Divine Stories of the Yahweh Sisterhood and Daily Wisdom for Working Women, both of which she co-authored with Michelle Medlock Adams, were selected as Premier Picks or Members Only selections by Family Christian Bookstores.

Gena’s work has appeared in HomeLife, Believer’s Voice of Victory, Marriage Today, Angel Food Ministries’ Servant magazine and others. Gena has ghostwritten for many respected ministers including Kenneth Copeland, Gloria Copeland, Joyce Meyer and James Robison. She has also worked with pastors and ministers to help them turn their sermons into books.

Gena holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oral Roberts University, and while she admits that her path to becoming a writer was not straight, she now recognizes that it was necessary.

“For me, becoming a writer was an inevitable process. Every step in my career… and in my life… has added to my writing.”

Today, Gena lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband and their three children. In addition to her freelance writing, she is busy homeschooling and helping others interested in educating their children at home through her site www.HomeschoolPassion.com.
